So I was feeling a tiny little bit fed up the other day, and letting silly things get me down! So my lovely boyfriend came up with a pretty amazing plan;
To cheer me up and to help avoid the mid-week drag he decided that every Wednesday should be date night!
Because we are both putting savings high on our list of priorities for the next few months we decided that instead of eating out, we will stay in, cook some lovely food and have some wine. It gives us something too look forward to when the weekend still feels so far away!
So last night was our first date night, and Tom decided that it was only proper that we should have steak! (super rare of course!)
we opened some lovely red wine, and Tom cooked sweet potato wedges and steak whilst I made my home made pesto! (I will do a follow up recipe post about this very soon!)
