So on Friday lunch time we left work, we would have set off straight to wales except someone (me) had not believed the weather forecast and packed only winter clothes. After a very quick detour home to grab something that wasn't black we were on our way!
It took us about three hours to get to the cottage, we arrived, unpacked and got our boots on, ready for the short and rather lovely walk to the pub.
The pub is called the Ty Coch Inn and has been voted the 3rd best beach bar in the world...Tom has been telling me how amazing it is for months...and now I understand why!
The pub was amazing, right on the beech, completely out of the way and overlooking a really peaceful bay littered with little tiny boats. We sat and watched a fisherman and his little girl painting their fishing boat over a pint or two and then as the sun began to dim we walked back through the fields to the cottage for food.
It was completely perfect! :)
