I have become a great believer that life hands you what you need, when you need it the most.
Just after University ended for me my life completely changed. I was forced to press re-set on a life I though I had all figured out.
What I needed most at that time was a job. I threw myself into an all consuming job hunt and within three weeks I was employed.
My new job gave me confidence and my independence back, allowed me to meet some amazing people and after a few months I met my incredible boyfriend there too!
A year later I think life threw a new challenge my way, things changed, I could no longer see the positives and after some difficult times it became clear that it was time for me to move on.
In the end the decision was made for me to leave work and although at the time this felt very negative and scary. I now see this as an incredible opportunity.
This is the chance for me to take time for myself, to figure out what I really want from my career. Something I never had the opportunity to do before.
I have some very exciting plans that I am working on, but as yet nothing is finalised. This could be really terrifying but at the same time I feel very privileged to be able to do this.
