This time of year means one major thing as far as I am concerned and that means at least one (if not more) Trips to the Manchester Christmas markets. I have been visiting the markets each year since they started and I absolute love them!
This year I took Tom who had never actually been to the Manchester markets before. I willingly took on the roll of tour guide and we set off early afternoon.
When we arrived we headed straight through Piccadilly gardens, past the big wheel and towards Selfridges and mulled wine! where we met up with my friend.
We wandered through the market towards St Anne's square before heading into Spinning fields for a spot of lunch.
It was getting dark at this point so luckily the markets were a bit quieter and we headed straight to the beer halls. We got a great spot in front of the town hall where we enjoyed even more mulled wine whilst enjoying the lovely view and sheltering from a bit of a hale storm.
Before leaving Tom had the obligatory German sausage before we headed back to the train station very tired and cold but very happy.
Ready to do it all over again next weekend with my family as part of our annual Christmas tradition!
Have you been to the Manchester Markets!?
Thank you for reading :)
