Manchester Christmas Markets, Take 2 - A Family Christmas Tradition

Ever year for at least the last 10 years, me and my whole family have been going to Manchester at Christmas time to visit the Christmas markets and to see a play at the Royal Exchange Theater.

This year was no exception and we headed off to Manchester and this year Tom came too!

The first stop as soon as we arrived, were the Christmas markets for the obligatory glass of mulled wine.

Then we had a wonder around the stalls and attempted to do a little bit of Christmas shopping.

In the end we decided it was just too busy and we retreated back to Spinning-fields. After a look around the stalls there and about 10 minutes debating weather ice-skating would be a good idea or not, we headed to Carluccios to get warm and for another amazing meal!

At about 7:00 we headed back to st Ann's square to the Theater and met up with the rest of my family.

The play this year was the Little Shop of Horrors and it was absolutely brilliant!

The play runs until the 31st of January so there is still time to get yourself a ticket, here and I would definitely recommend a visit!

What are your Christmas traditions?

Thank you for reading :)
