The fist thing that you should know about me is that I love a good list, and collecting things
In a weird way I sort of feel like they are similar things.
It was actually whilst making a list of things I want to do on this blog that I came up with the idea to do a weekly post/list of things I'm am completely in love with at the moment!
O here it is; my favourite things. Week 1. (The title needs work but we will roll with this for now!)
1. Netflix....not something id ever really considered before, but people kept telling me to watch breaking bad and then telling me that the best way to do this was through Netflix...so I though what the heck I'l give it a whirl. Now im not really sure how I ever lived without it! ...not quite got round to watching breaking bad yet but I am catching up on all the episodes of secret diary of a call girl that I missed so I'm happy! :)
2. The music video to afterglow by Wilkinson...the song aint bad I guess but the music video...although as far as I can tell seemingly unrelated to the song is so cute, its a clever idea...check it out on you tube, it will make you smile ...hopefully :)
3. The Oast house , Manchester...paid another cheeky visit this weekend and now that its winter they have a fire pit and blankets..and the only place I know in England that does my new favourite drink...
4. Aperol spritz...aperol, Proseco and a wedge of orange. First invented in Italy and where I first tried it, its sour and bitter and dry..and fizzy! Its the perfect summer drink ...but its great in winter too! (Ski lodge optional, but preferable)
5. My new winter boots. Keeping my feet toast at the bus stop as well as giving me and my 5ft5 self some much appreciated height whilst still being able to walk around comfortably, if not completely gracefully.
6. And finally the song I haven't been able to get out of my head for over a week, from one of my all time favourite things...something's coming, from west side storey...cant stop humming it to myself on the bus...its quite frankly getting awkward now! ....don't know what I'm on about...you tube it, guaranteed to put a smile on your face and a spring in your step :) (I tried to put clips of both videos mentioned but I failed at technology again...sorry)
