I have been toying recently with the idea of a little headdress, mainly because I am going on holiday and a little bit because I want to look like a princess. However the more I think about it the more unsure I am. I think they look great 'on-paper' in magazines, on models, on people at festivals etc. but in reality I'm concerned I'll never be able to pull it off.
For one, most of them require a centre parting...I haven't had a centre parting since I was about 8...and it was not a good look! Secondly I am very concerned that one wrong move and the whole thing will end up in my lap or horrifically tangled in my hair.
Thirdly I did see someone wearing one on a night out in Headingley last week and I was slightly convinced, until I later realised that she was in actual fact, in fancy dress as a mermaid! Does this prove my point?
Are headdresses best left to the celebs and Pintrest or can they work in 'real life'?
If anyone has any tips on how to rock this look I would love to hear them!
Thank you for reading :)
