Back To Wales

This weekend, on a whim we deiced to go back to Wales for a couple for days by the sea side.

We walked by the coast, drank cider on the beech at the most amazing pub in the world, the Ty Coch Inn, did a little bit of shopping in nearby Phwillie and ate a lot of amazing Ice cream.

On the Sunday tom's parents got the boat out and we went for a spin in the sea near Nefyn. Although I admit I was a little bit nervous to begin with and was seriously regretting my lack of swimwear, all was soon forgotten and we had an absolutely brilliant time racing up and down along the cost. The water was really calm and the sun even came out!

On the way home we stopped off in my favourite place, Beddgelert, admiring the amazing views of Snowdon on the way.

We ate huge and incredible gluten-free pizzas, piled high with chilies and peperoni and bacon at Glaclyn pizzeria and then popped next door to Glaclyn ices and ate even more amazing ice-cream.(Pecan and crème caramel and chocolate and stem ginger!)

Making the most of our last few glimpses of the mountains we made our way home, happy and full...and tired. I made the worst travelling buddy again and fell asleep as usual! :( But I woke up just in time to catch a glimpse of the red arrows fly past us just after Llanddudno!

As last minute un-planned weekends go it was pretty perfect! :)

What did you get up to this weekend?

Thank you for reading
