Come Shopping With Me, - A Girly Shopping Day In Leeds!

I go on holiday in less than 2 weeks!  and I am still seriously lacking in summer clothes and holiday essentials!!

I took last Friday off work and headed into Leeds with my mum for a lovely girl-y shopping trip to try and rectify the situation.

Here is what we bought and what we got up to! :)

Fist things first a caffeine fix and s couple of double shots of espresso's in my cappuccino to get me going.

We headed off to the Victorian Quarter fist, my mum wanted to visit L.K. Bennett and I had a quick peek in Jack Wills. Thne it was all-saints where my mum complained about how dreery everything looked, whilst I was in all black heaven!

We compromised in French connection and both spent a long time debating a couple of gorgeous dresses!

Then it was lunch time and I took her to Trinity kitchens (for a bit of a change)

I then went to Topshop and proceeded to have a melt-down in the middle of the shop, I had to be talked down from a leather trousers and black fluffy gillet combo. Top-Tip: never go summer clothes shopping just as A/W sock is released...it's torture when your as obsessed as I am with winter clothes!

We then ended up in my most favourite and reliable shop, whistles has never let me down yet. I loved so many things that I had a job carrying them all to the changing room. I eventually came away with a lovely white and blue stripy pencil skirt..perfect for holidays and more winter-y outfits too! and a gorgeous, super-soft and glittery! grey jumper that I really do want to live in.

Next we went back to L.K.Bennett and my mum came away with some beautiful grey trousers and a slightly scarily priced but very pretty scarf.

Last stop was jigsaw where I got a very summary blue and white striped T-shirt, perfect for well everything! and my mum got a lovely jumper and shrug to match her new trousers.

These was just enough time for me to pop into Lush and pick up a gorgeous face-mask, a lip scrub and some amazing smelling moisturiser on my way for the 5 o'clock train back to Huddersfield.

I arrived back in Huddersfield and fell exhausted into Tom's car before going home to put my feet up with a large glass of red wine.

Defiantly a successful shopping trip in the end and I am marginally more prepared for my summer break! :)

Here's some of what I bought:

Stripey pencil skirt from Whistles

Tailored trousers from Zara

Lovely stripey T-shirt From Whistles

Thank you for reading ;)
