Yesterday was my mums birthday and since we both have a bit more time on our hands at the moment I decided to treat us to lunch out at one of our most favorite cafes. T&cake in Almondbury is such a lovely little cafe and the best part is that they are only a 15 minute walk from home. (.....actually the best thing is probably that they have an alcohol licence so we could properly treat ourselves)
They have a lovely menue not too big so you arnt struggling with too much choice and they have a separate menue dedicated to all of their special loose leaf teas, all with really lovely names. There cakes are all home made and there are plenty of gluten free options too!
I went for my favorite roasted squash, halumi, fallaffel and pomegranit salad and my mum went for a welsh rarebit with poached egg and a chocolate tort for dessert.
I would deffinatly recommend this gorgeous little cafe for anyone who ever finds themselves in the area! :)
