So there aren't that many rules left in Fashion, but the few that there still are I think are really important. (I'm a bit of a stickler for tradition)
The number one of these unbreakable rules (in my opinion) is,
you should not wear white to a wedding!
It's just not your day. The bride can wear a couple of colours on her day to stand out, you have all the rest to pick from! (It was also once really frowned upon to wear black to a wedding too, I can kind of see why but i don't think this is observed much anymore...plus you've gotta leave a girl with some options!)
There are also rules about it not being to short, or too casual or too revealing. It has to be suitable for a night do...and dancing, but not too much like your on your way to a night club! lets face it the whole thing is a minefield! 'What to wear for a wedding' is an issue raised by most fashion magazines at this time every year! so i know its not just me that finds it pretty tricky!
so obviously I'm bringing this up because i am indeed going to a wedding this evening and the usual problems have arisen. I don't have that many girly/wedding dresses and most of the ones i do have are mainly white! so of course they are ruled out.

Any advice would be fantastic right now!? also do you have any fashion rules? What would you wear for a wedding!?
