This is a very special post, dedicated to a very special person! And today just so happens to be her Birthday! We are getting old now (24) but we have been friend since we were about 4! Svenja has been my very best friend...ever since we stood up in a school assembly and declared that our favorite food was spaghetti and eggs! (There was even a song to go along with this!)
We spent most of our time at each others houses when we were little, she lived just around the corner from me until high-school, when she moved just a little bit further away...to Dunbland, Scotland. But we weren't going to let a little bit of distance stand in the way of being best friends!
We have kept in touch ever since and every time we meet up (which unfortunately is less and less often as our busy lives take over) we can pick up right where we left off!
I have been meaning to do this post for a long time now, in fact ever since Svenja announced that she was engaged to her boyfriend of a lot of years Sean way back in March! But I though I'd save it for today and wish her a huge Happy Birthday and another massive Congratulations!
She moves back down to Sheffield to do her PHD in September (because she is super brainy too!) and I can't tell you how excited I am to have her back in Yorkshire! :)
