A Perfect Sunday At The Yorkshire Sculpture Park

This Sunday there were no plans, which is always nice. But we woke up to such a sunny Sunday morning that we thought that we really should do something!

There is nothing I love to do more in Autumn than go on a lovely crisp Autumn walk and kick up all the lovely leaves. And there is no where I love to do this more than at The Yorkshire Sculpture Park (YSP) in Breton, West Yorkshire.

I have been coming here since I was teeny tiny..(and I have the photos to prove it!) It is one of my favourite places ever and is such a lovely, pretty place to walk around. The the walk is made so much more interesting because of all of the completely random and ever changing collection of sculptures that they have on display. No wonder it just got awarded Museum of the Year 2014.

We wandered around the huge amount of land (the whole thing is built in the grounds of a big old country house) admired the art work and went for a wander around the estates big lake before heading back up to the amazing cafe/craft shop which I am also obsessed with.

I can't think of a better place to spend a Sunday, or a better day to do it on! If you haven't been to the YSP before I would definitely recommend a visit!

What did you get up to this weekend?

Thank you for reading :)
