Last Sunday me and Tom fancied something a bit different for Sunday lunch and decided that it was about time we made pulled pork again.
Tom had a new recipe he had been given by someone at work and was desperate to give it a try. The recipe included chilli jam so of course I was more than up for giving it a go!
we got a decent sized pork shoulder from the supermarket and popped it into a big slow cooker pot. We then added a third of our chilli jam, an onion and about five cloves of garlic. We filled the pot with half a pint of water, put the lid on and placed it in the over at 150 degrees for about 8 hours. We then placed it in the slow cooker for a couple more hours until we were ready to eat it.
we served the pork with more chilli jam, wraps, rice, salad and hummous...oh and a little bit of bbq sauce. It was amazing! Id deffinatly recomend you give it a go this sunday if you fancy a change from your standard roast.
Let me know if you give it a try!
Thank you for reading :)
